As I slide into my 60's I feel like this should not be a time I have to relearn how to be a normal human again. The side effects feel like they were worth it for my quality of life but I am unable to access this medication. Clonazepam was a lifesaver for me and although I feel much brighter mentally off it, I struggle so much with physical exhaustion, lack of sleep and other issues. So far nothing else has worked for my anxiety snd now it is a struggle every day. It was horrible and I miss the feeling of being relaxed. I am now in late 50's and our country has decided this medication can't be taken long term so I weaned myself off them. I will tell you that I have suffered with anxiety, OCD for many years. Benzos get a bad rep because of their dependency nature.
